NON SPORTS:
With Star Wars Episode VII coming out last year and Rogue One this year, Topps has created many new collectible card products. Many of them had the late Carrie Fishers autograph as part of many other actors who stared in the Original trilogy as well as the prequels. Vendors also have vintage singles from the original blue, yellow and red Star Wars card collections. Most shows will also have sealed boxes of LEGO Star Wars toys, OYO (LEGO style Sports Figures of MLB, NHL, MLS, NFL players like Peyton Manning and other superstars.)
SPORTS:
The core of the hobby is and has always been the sports card industry. There are always sealed boxes of all the major sports, individual sports packs, boxes of cards to finish sets, rookie cards or Hall of Fame players as well as the latest prospects. The vendors who frequent the shows have a vast knowledge of the collectible marketplace and are happy to chat with customers about sports. We are always looking for new cards and collections to buy, sell and trade. So, come to the next event with your collection.
PROMOTIONS:
Attendees of the event will receive a "Swag Bag" with collectible promotional products. We are constantly communicating with sports collectible companies requesting promotional items to give away at events. Also please sign up for our digital newsletter to receive the latest updates on events right around the corner!
Collectible shows are always a fun & safe event for the whole family!
GRADING SERVICES:
Many people ask us, "what is the difference between RCR and Slabbed?" "RAW CARD REVIEW" or RCR is a grading service that happens on-site at a particular location. A Qualified Beckett grading representative will grade a card on four categories (centering, corners, edges, and surface.) This service can be requested in different time services. Whether you chose to pay more to get it done within an hour or if you wait and pay to have it done in 24 hours. The card is graded by Beckett and placed in a "Card Saver I or II.” That has a tamper-proof Beckett sticker across the top, securing the card inside. For example, if you had a Peyton Manning autograph card if in their review of the card graded Beckett 9.5 Gem Mint with a perfect autograph, it would be a 9.5 with 10 as an autograph grade. Making the card substantially more expensive. So why should someone RCR their card? Aside from the obvious, which is knowing what grade your collectible will receive. There are also sellers who want to strike-while-the-iron-is-hot and make the most from their collectible. (This isn't a bad thing, supply and demand are what our economy is based on.) RCR grading service is also for someone who isn’t 100% of the condition of the card and wants to only encase cards with a certain high grade. Others want to make sure their treasure will get the same grade when slabbed, RCR guarantees that the raw grade you receive is the one you will get back erased from Beckett.
SLABBED, ENCASED or ENCAPSULATED is a service provided by Beckett grading either exclusively at the National Sports Card Events or when cards are mailed directly to Texas to be graded at Beckett headquarters. Another great thing about the RCR show is you can send your cards directly to Beckett Headquarters, enjoy the show special price and save on shipping one way. Many customers utilize both the RCR grading service and then send them to be encapsulated after receiving their Raw Grades. This event only offers on-site RCR and as such is the only way to find the condition of your card(s) in person. Take advantage of that service and get some cards Raw Graded today.
