We are pleased to announce that Beckett Grading & Authentication Services will be in Denver, Saturday, May 19th. They will be offering autograph authentication, comic & card (sports, non-sports, etc.) grading. Steve Grad, who can be seen on the History channel's Pawn Stars will be authenticating comics, cards, baseballs, bats, photos and whatever other items you have that you wish to have authentication on. Please visit Beckett's website for more information on pricing.

All C's Collectibles has been a staple of the collecting community for over 25 years. Starting out as a small local store that you could fit no more than 10 people without being a fire hazard, to now Colorado's largest collectible store with a huge selection of coins, cards, comics, and other collectibles. All C's longevity can be explained by their integrity, customer service, huge inventory, and sensible prices. Make sure to visit the store as they are always buying and selling, which equates to fresh and exciting inventory!

5280 Collectibles has been organizing collectible shows for 10 years in the Denver Metro-Area. Bringing exclusive events like the Beckett show to the Colorado collecting public. The owner started collecting back in the early eighties, setting up and collectible events and eventually with the creation of eBay, selling to customers all over the world. Concentrating on giving the collecting public the very best bi-annual shows, 5280 Collectibles has grown each event each year into something bigger and better.

Mike Gardner (Representative from Beckett Grading) will be on hand from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Beckett will accept submissions for cards to be Raw-Graded, Autograph Authentication or to be sent to Dallas to be slabbed (encased). All customers who get cards raw-graded will then have the choice to keep the raw-grades or submit the raw-grades to be slabbed (encased) at Beckett headquarters. All submissions will be sent insured and protected. THIS MEANS THAT ALL GRADES GIVEN AS RAW GRADES ARE THE SAME GRADE THAT CUSTOMERS WILL RECEIVE SLABBED (ENCASED) back from Beckett headquarters. (Dallas Texas) The raw-grade is guaranteed if the customer submits the raw-grade cards to Beckett Representatives on the show weekend. (Raw-grades are a wonderful way for customers to receive piece-of-mind should they be worried about sending cards through the mail or having a card switched with another. These submissions will be returned to customers via insured mail for the amount of value declared by the customer.

Pricing for RCR submissions depends on how many items you are submitting and if you plan to wait for those items to be graded. Pricing for slabbed submissions depends on how many items are submitted, how long you can wait for those items to be graded (business days wait) and how much you will ensure those items to and from Beckett's grading facility in Dallas Texas. Beckett's submission specialist will have that information at the event as well as discounts for adding more cards to your order. Beckett accepts credit cards and cash only... NO CHECKS. After dropping off your submissions with Beckett, stop in to check out the HUGE selection of sports & non-sports cards, boxes, albums, supplies, comics, and other rare collectibles!

With Star Wars Episode VII coming out last year and Rogue One this year, Topps has created many new collectible card products. Many of them had the late Carrie Fishers autograph as part of many other actors who stared in the Original trilogy as well as the prequels. Vendors also have vintage singles from the original blue, yellow and red Star Wars card collections. Most shows will also have sealed boxes of LEGO Star Wars toys, OYO (LEGO style Sports Figures of MLB, NHL, MLS, NFL players like Peyton Manning and other superstars.)

The core of the hobby is and has always been the sports card industry. There are always sealed boxes of all the major sports, individual sports packs, boxes of cards to finish sets, rookie cards or Hall of Fame players as well as the latest prospects. The vendors who frequent the shows have a vast knowledge of the collectible marketplace and are happy to chat with customers about sports. We are always looking for new cards and collections to buy, sell and trade. So, come to the next event with your collection.

Attendees of the event will receive a "Swag Bag" with collectible promotional products. We are constantly communicating with sports collectible companies requesting promotional items to give away at events. Also please sign up for our digital newsletter to receive the latest updates on events right around the corner!

Collectible shows are always a fun & safe event for the whole family!

Many people ask us, "what is the difference between RCR and Slabbed?" "RAW CARD REVIEW" or RCR is a grading service that happens on-site at a particular location. A Qualified Beckett grading representative will grade a card on four categories (centering, corners, edges, and surface.) This service can be requested in different time services. Whether you chose to pay more to get it done within an hour or if you wait and pay to have it done in 24 hours. The card is graded by Beckett and placed in a "Card Saver I or II.” That has a tamper-proof Beckett sticker across the top, securing the card inside. For example, if you had a Peyton Manning autograph card if in their review of the card graded Beckett 9.5 Gem Mint with a perfect autograph, it would be a 9.5 with 10 as an autograph grade. Making the card substantially more expensive. So why should someone RCR their card? Aside from the obvious, which is knowing what grade your collectible will receive. There are also sellers who want to strike-while-the-iron-is-hot and make the most from their collectible. (This isn't a bad thing, supply and demand are what our economy is based on.) RCR grading service is also for someone who isn’t 100% of the condition of the card and wants to only encase cards with a certain high grade. Others want to make sure their treasure will get the same grade when slabbed, RCR guarantees that the raw grade you receive is the one you will get back erased from Beckett.

SLABBED, ENCASED or ENCAPSULATED is a service provided by Beckett grading either exclusively at the National Sports Card Events or when cards are mailed directly to Texas to be graded at Beckett headquarters. Another great thing about the RCR show is you can send your cards directly to Beckett Headquarters, enjoy the show special price and save on shipping one way. Many customers utilize both the RCR grading service and then send them to be encapsulated after receiving their Raw Grades. This event only offers on-site RCR and as such is the only way to find the condition of your card(s) in person. Take advantage of that service and get some cards Raw Graded today.
