The Bio of Baron Von Saturday!

Baron Von Saturday

As the Greco-Roman god of Doom, Moros fights to maintain balance in the universe, on behalf of the goddess, Themis. Taking the form of the creature created by Victor Frankenstein, he has traveled the various universes seeking allies and knowledge. He has befriended many death gods from other pantheons and gathered a loyal army of monsters to aid in his fight. His face scarring and title were granted to him from Baron Samedi, who perished in combat with Zeus. He has also imbued mortals with powers and abilities to increase the number of protectors on Earth––disguising himself in various forms along the way. Now, masked as a late night horror host, he vows to protect mortals from the power hungry Zeus.

Real Name: Moros (Greek) Fatum (Roman)

Aliases: Morry Rose, Monster Robo Z, Nemesis Oscuro, Lord Yōkai, The Creature, Frankenstein’s Monster

Height: Variable - Usually 8’0” or 2.4m

Weight: Variable - Usually 500lbs.

Eyes: Glowing Irises no visible pupils

Hair: None

Powers: As the son of Nyx, The Baron is not limited in physical form. While taking shape as the Baron, he possesses the conventional superhuman attributes of an Olympian Deity. His strength, endurance, and resistance to injury are greater than the vast majority of the Olympian race. The Baron is immortal, immune to conventional disease and does not weaken. His flesh and bones are several times denser than a mortal being.  He is able to survive in the vacuum of space or underwater, as he does not need to breathe and does not require food or sleep––although he has indulged in and enjoys mortal food. Like all Olympians, if injured, The Baron is capable of healing himself with superhuman speed and efficiency. He is capable of regenerating missing limbs or organs if it is essential.  As the Lord of Doom, he possesses the power to tap into the near-infinite resources of cosmic and mystical energies––enhancing all of his abilities. Particularly the shadows and darkness ruled by his mother, Nyx.

Abilities: The Baron is trained in the arts of war, being a superbly skilled warrior, highly proficient in hand-to-hand combat, swordsmanship and various martial arts. He also has the ability to project bolts of dark magic from his eyes and hands. He is capable of creating mystical force fields as well as granting enchantment to objects and people. He is capable of flight at great speeds and can teleport across vast distances.  After his merging with Baron Semadi, The Baron was granted the ability to summon armies of the dead and absorb the life force of living beings. This is in addition to his ability to summon shadows and shades that he can personify into warriors.

Weapons:  The Baron is skilled in the use of many weapons. His most frequently used weapons are the dual Blades of Doom. They have appeared as battle axes, khopesh and kama’s at various times and are summoned by the Baron and formed from shadow. They were forged by Ptah––the demiurge of the Egyptian pantheon from Erebuim metal, an adamant quality black metal from Tartarus.  He also wielded the Sword of Shades, forged in ancient Japan, which could summon the spirits of fallen soldiers to aid in battle. A gift he passed on to The Grey Ghost, his trusted ally and primary assassin.

Group Affiliations: Primordial Greek gods, Brotherhood of Night, WDTH Channel 9 staff, Founder of the Kage Clan

First Appearance: Baron Von Saturday Tales From Beyond #1 (2014)
